If you decide to keep it, the transaction is complete.
If the dress isn’t quite what you’re looking for you can send it back for a refund. Once we receive the dress in our studio, as long as it comes back in the same condition in which you bought it (no stains, tears or damage). You will receive a refund for the dress purchase, minis a 10% restocking fee up to a maximum of $150.
Tips for in-home fitting
Before committing to an in-home fitting, we suggest you check measurements to make sure the dress you are interested in is likely to fit.
The main measurements you will need are:
Bust (measure around your bust and back at the fullest part)
Waist (measure around your natural waist, being the narrowest part of your waist)
Hips (Measure at the fullest part of your hip, around 5-6 inches from your waist)
Hollow to Hem (sometimes you will see a hollow to hem, this measures the length of the dress. To get your hollow to hem measurement, you will need to measure from the hollow of your neck to the hemline)
If you are happy with fittings you can purchase the dress.
When you receive the dress, please keep it out of sunlight and in the dress bag hanging up to minimise wrinkles.
Before you try, make sure you are wearing no make up or spray tans as if the dress comes back stained you will be charged for dry cleaning. Ensure the floor area is clean and clear.
Get a friend to help you pull the dress over your head, wear some from fitting underwear.
To get out of your dress it is best to pull it down and step out of it. If you decide to return the dress, ensure it is packed away neatly int the dress bag.
Once the dress has been returned, you will receive the money back within 10 business days.
What is a restocking fee?
Each time a dress goes out it is inspected and verified as an authentic dress. Quite often dresses get wrinkled during the mailing process, the restocking fee is there to cover the cost of getting the dress pressed and reading for sale again.
